Lots of advantages of working in a manufacturing studio, one is I get to carve out time for continuing education. Today, JOGAKBO Korean patchwork with @youngminlee_bojagi . I’m so inspired by her passion and her profound words of wisdom ( like if you mess a stitch up, don’t worry, it’s only one of many, many stitches. And while you hand stitch, wish for happiness or think about someone you love 😭♥️) Mind is spinning with ideas — expect to see Sesame pug in a JOGAKBO dog collar soon. 😂

It’s always nice having a husband who has a master’s degree in photography (🎤drop. Kidding, he’s going to be bright red with embarrassment that I wrote this 😂) but it’s extra nice when I have to photograph a piece in a clear plexi box. Thank you for your expertise @danielraymiller . This piece still needs a title. Any suggestions?

Last night was a smash! 💥 Soo many of my favorite people came out, I felt so supported and loved - @lisajcarrillo @liza.chavez12 @imandreasick @kjackroxman @matkinz @tracy_a_weeks @danielraymiller @sarahkdowney @anakmollo @thatguy_585 @noahm0101 @moxiemamawellness @cassandra.costley @travisthepug @abd_al_rahman_iii and lots others THANK YOu! 🥰 The cherry on top was that the show was at one of my most favorite places in the world, @harwoodartcenter There is magical happy dust that floats in the air at the Harwood, it’s hard to describe in words. There are a couple of constant things that I wake up grateful for and @escueladelsol_68 and @harwoodartcenter are always one of them. To show my work here was such an honor. ♥️

SURFACE is open at the @harwoodartcenter ! I am still on cloud 9 and still shocked / honored my work was chosen. It really gives me validation that I am on the right track at the right time in my life.
